Advanced Theft Alert Search
The Advanced Theft Alert Search allows you to search for theft alerts which have been reported, using a combination of search criteria.
NOTE: Your search results will return only those theft alerts, which fulfill all the criteria you have chosen.
1) Postal Codes / Prefectures
If you wish to see theft alerts reported for a certain postal code, please enter the postal code of your choice. In this case, your search results will include only the theft alerts which have been reported under this postal code.
NOTE: If you use postal code as a criterion, the additional choice of one or more prefectures will not change the results of your search.
Alternatively, you may choose up to 5 prefectures. In this case, your search results will include those theft alerts, which have been reported for the selected prefectures.
NOTE: In case you select more than 5 prefectures, your search results will only show the incidents, which have been reported for the first 5 prefectures you have chosen.
2) Date of Incident
Optionally, you may enter two dates in the fields "Date of Theft”, which appear on the advanced search page. In this case, your search results will include only the incidents, which have occurred between the dates you have entered.
3) Stolen items
Optionally, you may choose up to 5 items from the drop-down list, which appears on the advanced search page. Choose more than one item by holding down the CTRL key, while you click the items you wish to include.
In this case, your search results will include only those incidents, which relate to at least one of the items you have selected. Furthermore, in case you have selected additional criteria, your search results will include only those incidents, which contain one of the items you have selected but also fulfill the additional criteria you have chosen.
4) Stolen Materials
Optionally, you may choose up to 5 materials from the drop-down list, which appears on the advanced search page. Choose more than one material by holding down the CTRL key, while you click the materials you wish to include. In this case, your search results will include only those incidents, which relate to at least one of the materials you have selected. Furthermore, in case you have selected additional criteria, your search results will include only those incidents, which contain one of the materials you have selected but also fulfill the additional criteria you have chosen.
